Some mornings you wake up and read a piece on how Paul Kelly’s out in the bush recording an album with his nephew, then you go to a show at which the support act is rumoured to include Paul Kelly’s daughters, then towards the end of the show you’re walking outside for a cigarette, a bald guy dressed entirely in black walks into the bar, and suddenly you’re at a show with the actual Paul Kelly.
